Adolescent Therapy
The teenage years bring exciting opportunities, but they can also feel overwhelming. Adolescents are navigating identity, friendships, school, family relationships, increasing independence, and the pressures of growing up. All while their brains are continuing to develop!
At Maple Psychology, we provide a supportive, respectful space where teenagers can talk openly without fear of judgement. We understand that trust takes time, and we work at a pace that feels comfortable for each young person.
Therapy focuses on helping teenagers understand themselves, recognise emotions, develop healthy coping strategies, and build confidence in managing life’s challenges. Rather than simply giving advice, we work alongside young people to discover strategies that fit who they are.
Many teenagers also experience increased pressure around school, friendships, social media, future planning, and identity. Therapy can provide practical tools while also helping young people recognise their strengths and values.
