Parent Support
Parenting is one of the most rewarding (and challenging) roles we can have. There is no instruction manual, and every child is different.
Whether you’re supporting a child experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, neurodivergence, behavioural challenges, or simply navigating everyday parenting, our psychologists work alongside you to build confidence, understanding, and practical strategies.
We know that parenting advice can often feel overwhelming or contradictory. Rather than providing a rigid set of rules, we work collaboratively to understand your child’s individual needs, your family’s values, and the realities of everyday life.
Parent sessions may involve learning about child development, emotional regulation, behaviour as communication, co-regulation, routines, school challenges, or strengthening parent-child relationships. We aim to provide realistic strategies that feel achievable and sustainable.
Many parents also benefit from having a dedicated space to reflect on their own wellbeing. Parenting can be emotionally demanding, and caring for yourself is an important part of caring for your child.
Parent support may include
- Understanding your child's behaviour
- Emotional regulation strategies
- Anxiety and worries
- Autism and ADHD
- School and learning challenges
- Building routines
- Sleep concerns
- Strengthening family relationships
- Parent wellbeing and confidence
Our goal is to help families feel more connected, more confident, and better equipped to navigate challenges together.
