Katrina is a Senior Registered Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor who works with children aged 10 years and over, teenagers, and adults. She is curious about the connection between the brain, body and our experiences, and particularly enjoys working with clients where mental and physical health overlap, including Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), chronic health conditions, trauma, anxiety and depression.
Katrina's style is thoughtful, curious and collaborative. She likes to understand the why behind what is happening—not just focus on managing the symptoms. Therapy might involve exploring patterns, understanding the nervous system, processing past experiences, or developing practical strategies to make everyday life feel more manageable.
With experience across mental health services, private practice and return-to-work settings, Katrina brings a broad perspective to therapy. She draws from approaches including CBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR, mindfulness, attachment-based therapy and trauma-informed practice, adapting these to the individual rather than following a rigid formula.
Katrina is also a Board Approved Supervisor and enjoys supporting other psychologists to develop their confidence, clinical skills and individual style as practitioners.
