Paula Brown

Director & Senior Registered Psychologist

Paula is a Senior Registered Psychologist who works with children aged 10 years and over, teenagers, and adults. She brings a grounded, practical and genuinely caring approach to therapy, creating a space where clients can talk openly, make sense of what’s happening, and find strategies that actually work in everyday life.

Paula works with clients experiencing a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, trauma, grief, stress and difficulties managing big emotions.

Her approach is holistic and individualised. Paula recognises that our mental health is influenced by much more than our thoughts alone—our relationships, physical wellbeing, environment, experiences and everyday pressures all matter too.

Therapy with Paula is collaborative and tailored to the person sitting in front of her. She draws from CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and trauma-informed approaches, while placing the therapeutic relationship at the centre of her work.
